Friday Night Socks Goes Macho
You asked for it, you got it! After hearing requests for a "manly" sock, Stephanie & Christina have selected Basic Ribbed Socks from Spun Magazine
f
or our May Sock of the Month. In reality, this sock swings both ways ... it's all in the yarn you choose and who you decide to knit for! Stephanie is
making a pair for her lucky hubby
in gorgeous handpainted Denali from Pagewood Farm, very yummy! Other great yarn choices would be Trekking,
Missoni Stile,
or Step.

Did you know that at every month's meeting Stephanie & Christina usually
include a free mini-workshop on a different sock topic? At our May meeting
the focus was
heel flaps. Who knows what June will bring? Remember, Sock Club is our FREE monthly knitalong dedicated to all things socks. We meet
the second Friday of every month from 6pm-8pm.
You don't have to start a new sock every time; bring your sock in progress and enjoy the sock
camaraderie. We just ask that you work with materials purchased at
the shop. See you there!
