Charity Stitching Bee
Our monthly meeting is on hiatus, but we are still collecting your donations of hand knit
and crocheted items for several local organizations.

Winter 2011 Goals
Hats-scarf-mitten sets for kids of all ages at Washington County Foster Closet.
Funky hats, scarves or mitts for homeless & transitional youth at p:ear.
Headstart Hats have been delivered.
Machine washable yarns preferred for all.
Some good choices at the Bee include Berroco Vintage, Vintage Chunky, Comfort,
Comfort Chunky, Plymouth Encore, Superwash Merino, Dreambaby DK, Dream in Color
Classy, Katia Peru and many others.

We make hats, baby blankets, infusion blankets, shawls and more and have a variety
of free patterns available at the shop.
You can work with yarn from your stash or yarn from the Bee.
