Friday Night Socks on Hiatus
There will be no Friday Night Sock Club in July ... boo hoo! But I'm sure that y'all have at least one pair (or two or three) on
the needles that could use a little extra attention. So here's your chance! We'll meet back up in August, when Stephanie and
Christina will have a funky little slipper pattern to share.
Sock Club is our FREE monthly knitalong dedicated to all things socks. We meet the second Friday of every month from
6pm-8pm. You don't have to start a new sock every time; bring your sock in progress and enjoy the sock camaraderie. We
just ask that you work with materials purchased at the shop. See you there!
July Yarn of the Month:
Euroflax Sportweight Linen - 15% Off
If you've never worked with linen, you're in for a treat! Not only is it the perfect fiber for
fluid shawls & scarves, but it makes wonderful string bags, washcloths and hand towels.
Linen feels a little stringy when you work with it, but it gets softer every time you wash it
(just throw it in the washing machine and dryer, what could be easier?). Enjoy!
Here are a few pattern ideas:
Everlasting Bagstopper string bag from knitty.com
Lacy Round Face Cloth from Rhonda White
Pretty Mesh Linen Top from Kat Coyle
Crocheted Water Bottle Holder from Crochet Me
